Alan Karmin has a strong background in coaching athletics. He has coached girls field hockey, girls and boys basketball, and girls softball on the high school level. While at Middletown High School South he guided the field hockey team to a Central Jersey Group IV State Championship. Alan served on the boards of several organizations, developing and coaching girls travel field hockey, basketball, softball and boys travel baseball teams. Alan’s specialty was preparing student-athletes for the college level, and many of his athletes received scholarships.

Alan is a seasoned runner, having finished the Dopey Challenge in Walt Disney World where he ran a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon on four consecutive days for a total of 48.6 miles.

Alan is now concentrating on helping other train to reach their own personal goals. Although already trained and having extensive experience, he is working to complete his personal training and nutrition certifications from NASM.
